Members of the Buena Vista City Council meet in Council Chambers, 2039 Sycamore Avenue, at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month, unless otherwise announced.

- JANUARY 2026 UPDATE: Due to the New Years holiday, the January 1, 2026 council meeting has been moved to January 8, 2026. Regular sessions will resume following the January 15, 2026 session.
- DECEMBER 2025 UPDATE: Due to the holiday season, the December 4, 2025 meeting has been moved to December 11, 2025 at 6:00pm. The December 23, 2025 meeting has been cancelled. Regular council sessions will resume in January 2026.
